Three New Initiatives at HDMA

Welcome to HDMA’s Dispatch, one of three new initiatives we’re launching to make sure HDMA is staying connected with you, the members. What exactly is The Dispatch? I’m glad you asked.

The Dispatch: An Industry Blog

Leading courageous, collaborative communications is paramount as a charter for an industry association. At HDMA it is our fresh pledge as we enter an exciting new future. Assuming the lead as president and chief operation officer at HDMA is a test that is in sync with my personal passion of working in and embracing the challenges of the CV industry, which I face with enthusiasm to move the industry forward.

That’s why we are starting The Dispatch to address topics that are a bellwether for the industry. This bi-monthly blog of sorts will be penned by yours truly and will cover a variety of topics like:

  • Technology advancements

  • Industry Leadership

  • People, products, and services

  • Distribution network news

HDMA is the voice for suppliers to the commercial vehicle industry — a lofty statement and no small charge. To meet that admirable tagline, we need to adapt and embrace the future together. So, The Dispatch that you’re currently reading, The Heavy, and The Beam (I’ll get to those next) are new tools that will help us foster collaboration, courage, and consistent communication.

The Heavy: The Skinny on the CV Market

The weekly HDMA Diesel Download email will evolve into The Heavy, a media content overview of news in the industry and the tools to collectively amplify late breaking news items. In other words, The Heavy will be “the skinny” on all things related to the CV market and your HDMA membership.

The Beam: The Spotlight on Member Companies

Last but certainly not least, The Beam will be our monthly spotlight to promote member companies that are making waves in the industry. HDMA suppliers are innovators and our mission with The Beam is to provide a laser-focus on your work. We want to intensify your news across membership, the media, and directly to the end-customer to make sure your innovations are seen — with clear vision.

Help Wanted

The HDMA marketing team is outstanding and has stepped up to the charge, but we need you! Your courageous collaboration plays a huge part in augmenting our ability to communicate with you and on your behalf. We remain at our members’ call to communication and beam forward.
