Ann Duignan
Managing Director, J.P. Morgan

Ann Duignan is a managing director at J.P. Morgan, covering the U.S. machinery sector. Ann has ranked # 1 and/or # 2 in Institutional Investor’s All-America Research Team survey and the Greenwich Poll for over a decade.  Ann joined J.P. Morgan from Bear Stearns, where she was the diversified industrials analyst for five years. Prior to that, she worked at Sanford C. Bernstein & Co. as the capital goods analyst. In her five years with Eaton Corporation, she held positions in the Aerospace Controls Division as vice president and general manager, in the Truck Components Division as a business development and strategy director, and at corporate as manager of business development. She also spent two years with management consultant Booz & Company and a number of years in the automotive supply industry.  Ann holds an honors degree in agricultural engineering from University College Dublin Ireland, a higher diploma in mathematical modeling and computer simulation from Trinity College Dublin Ireland, and an M.B.A. from Vanderbilt University, Nashville TN.

Sandeep Kar is a global thought leader in commercial vehicle industry. He leads corporate strategy at Fleet Complete with a mission of developing the company as a leading global provider of IoT solutions for the widest array of on- and off- highway commercial vehicle industry eco-system partners. Sandeep is creating growth opportunities in a flat-world eco-system and implementing growth strategies powering Fleet Complete's pivotal role as a synergistic partner to all connected vehicle and mobile/stationary asset stake holding groups. 

Sandeep is widely regarded as a global expert and leader in commercial vehicle market and technology strategy development. He works closely with OEMs and suppliers in developing strategic partnerships that enables companies to grow faster through effective leveraging of advanced technologies and globalized operating conditions. He brings mission critical corporate strategy analytics and insights to senior leadership of global commercial vehicle market participants, and opens doors to accelerated revenue growth leveraging both technologies and markets.

Sandeep routinely speaks in many industry events and is regularly quoted by media on issues of strategic importance to commercial vehicle industry. Sandeep also serves in advisory boards of innovative companies, helping them find economies of scope and scale.


Derek Kaufman
President, C3Network

For 40 years, Derek Kaufman has worked in the Transportation Industry with positions ranging from VP Marketing and Product Planning for Freightliner Trucks, SR VP of Sales, Marketing and Customer Support for Hino Trucks, President of Diesel Technology Co, a subsidiary of Penske Corporation, VP of Fixed Operations for Smart USA and CEO of Mission Motors Company. Derek is also an entrepreneur. He founded C3 Network, LLC in 1997 to help clients launch new products in the transportation industry.

Today, Derek is a Managing Partner at Schwartz Advisors, LLC doing M&A support and company growth work in the auto and heavy-duty aftermarket and continues his role as President of C3 Network.

Derek serves on 6 corporate boards including Vermeer Corporation, Pella, IA, Bergstrom Inc., Rockford, IL, National Truck Protection, Cranford, NJ, QLS Nashville, TN, Pridgeon & Clay, Grand Rapids, MI, and Cascade Engineering, Grand Rapids, MI.


​Eli Lustgarten
President, ESL Consultants

Eli S. Lustgarten is President of ESL Consulting, an industrial consulting firm assisting trade associations and their members, as well as individual companies, understand the outlook for their end markets both domestically and worldwide. Most recently, Mr. Lustgarten has become a Senior Advisor to Oxford Economics, a Global Economic and Econometric Firm.

Mr. Lustgarten received his BSEE from the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn (now NYU engineering), and an MSEE from the University of Pennsylvania as a Ford Foundation Fellow. After spending three years as a design engineer and program manager on the SAM-D (PATRIOT) missile system at Raytheon, Mr. Lustgarten entered Harvard Business School and received his MBA with High Distinction being named a Baker Scholar at graduation.

He began his Wall Street career over four decades ago leading the Industrial Manufacturing groups at Paine Webber and then Schroder (Wertheim). Mr. Lustgarten is a six time Wall Street journal All-Star and was elected as a member of the Institutional Investor All-America Team for over two decades until his coverage shifted. He is also a regularly invited speaker at Economic Outlook Conferences for various trade associations including the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM), National Fluid Power Association (NFPA), Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association (HDMA), Metal Service Center Institute (MSCI), Associated (Construction) Equipment Distributors (AED), National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA), and The Association for Manufacturing Technology (AMT).

Mr. Lustgarten is a regular columnist for the AED construction industry trade magazine. He is also a frequent guest on CNBC financial programs and often quoted in the financial media including the Wall Street Journal, Reuters and Bloomberg.


Giulio Ornella
Head of Fluid Power, Electronics and Advanced Engineering, Dana Off-Highway Drive & Motion Technologies 

Giulio Ornella has been leading the Innovation initiatives of Dana Off Highway since January 2013, and since February 2017 has been also serving as head of Fluid Power and Electronics division out of  the recent Brevini Fluid Power acquisition. Previously Mr Ornella has been working in the areas of Hybrid/Electric and Control Systems engineering for Off Highway and Light Vehicle applications. Mr. Ornella holds a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Padua (Italy) and an MBA from Stogea Institute of Bologna (Italy). 


Matt Rushing
Vice President, Product Line, Global Crop Care, AGCO Corporation

Matt leads a global team responsible for AGCO’s crop care business including application, planting, tillage and seeding equipment and technology. This includes the development and market deployment of these critical systems for farmers around the world.

Matt has been with AGCO for 17 years, most recently leading the global Fuse® product line. He has held positions in Sales Support, Sales and Product Management for both the North American and European regions. He has lived and worked in the UK and Switzerland as well as the US and has experience working in South America, Africa, Asia and multiple countries in Western, Central and Eastern Europe. He is currently based at the AGCO Global HQ in Duluth Georgia USA.

Matt graduated from Vincennes University and before this served 6 years in the U.S. Army as an indirect fire infantryman, leading teams in multiple deployments, including the Persian Gulf.

Matt grew up on a farm in Western Kentucky growing corn, soybeans, hay and tobacco as well as raising livestock. He and his wife Amber and their two girls Mattie and Annabel currently live in Norcross GA.
