All motor vehicle parts suppliers with operations in North America are encouraged to attend an important briefing with the United States Trade Representative staff to review the details of the new North American trade deal on June 24 in Greenville, South Carolina. The event will be held at the Clemson University International Center for Automotive Research. The registration deadline is June 20.
The United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) will replace the North American Free Trade Agreement if it is ratified by Congress and the other two trade partners. A vote to ratify the deal could take place later this year.
This meeting is an opportunity for members to hear directly from the office of the USTR, hear an overview of what is in the agreement, and ask questions about how the agreement could impact business. This event is not open to the media.
The event is open to all members of MEMA divisions – including HDMA – as well as non-members. The registration fee is $100 for members and $150 for non-members.
