Karl Rove Now Featured at HD Dialogue '11
Research Triangle Park, NC – January 1, 2011 - Due to circumstances
beyond her control, Liz Cheney, the previously announced featured
speaker for Heavy Duty Dialogue 2011, is unable to appear. She has asked
her friend Karl Rove, former President Bush’s Deputy Chief of Staff
Senior to “fill-in” for her.
Karl Rove served as Senior Advisor to President George W. Bush from
2000–2007 and Deputy Chief of Staff from 2004–2007. At the White House
he oversaw the Offices of Strategic Initiatives, Political Affairs,
Public Liaison, and Intergovernmental Affairs and was Deputy Chief of
Staff for Policy, coordinating the White House policy-making process.
"While we are disappointed to not have Ms. Cheney and her vast State
Department experience as a speaker, we are delighted that Mr. Rove will
be presenting his views on global business dynamics and the impact of
the 2010 elections at HD Dialogue '11," said Tim Kraus, president and
COO of the Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association (HDMA). "His
presentation is timely, with the abruptly changing political climates in
the US and its impact on our economic models.”
Heavy Duty Dialogue '11, an exceptional business conference
strategically developed for executives in the global and domestic
commercial vehicle supplier industry, will be held at the Mirage in Las
Vegas, Nev., on Monday, Jan 17, 2011. HDD’11 immediately precedes Heavy
Duty Aftermarket Week ’11.
