Keynote Speaker Dr. Jeffrey Rosensweig to Present on the Global Economic Landscape at Heavy Duty Dialogue
RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC – With the theme of "The Global Commercial Vehicle Industry," this year's annual Heavy Duty Dialogue '12, to be held Monday, Jan. 23, 2012, at The Mirage, Las Vegas, Nev., will begin with a foundational discussion on global economics relevant to the commercial vehicle (CV) industry, led by world-class economist and keynote speaker, Dr. Jeffrey Rosensweig and moderated by Mike Hanley, global leader of Ernst & Young.
Rosensweig will provide an outlook of interconnected macroeconomics, world-wide, which are pertinent to the on and off highway CV industry. His portion of the day-long conference will set the stage for the proceeding programs as a benchmark for data that addresses major trends facing the industry.
Rosensweig is the director of Emory University's Goizueta Business School Global Perspectives Program. He is also a finance professor who specializes in global strategy, global economics, and international finance. His experience in academia includes teaching in the economics department at both MIT and the School of Management at Yale University.

Rosensweig will also be covering the current U.S. business environment, referencing housing statistics, manufacturing levels and present economic conditions, as well as short and long term prospects for our nation’s economy.
Moderating Rosensweig’s discussion will be Mike Hanley of Ernst & Young. Hanley has 35 years of experience with Ernst & Young with an emphasis on serving global automotive clients. He currently serves as the global client service partner for one global automotive supplier and is the senior advisory partner for three global suppliers and two vehicle manufacturers.
