BEIJING, Feb. 9 (Xinhua) – China's output and sales of commercial vehicles both tumbled by over 20 percent in January, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) said on Thursday.
China sold 229,200 commercial vehicles in January, down 28.54 percent month on month and 37.16 percent year on year.
The monthly output of commercial vehicles fell 24.98 percent from the preceding month to 245,900 units in January. The figure represented a 39.44 percent slump from January 2011.
