The Service Specialists Association has established the Cara Giebner SSA-GAAS Scholarship fund.
Giebner was the association's longtime executive director, who retired at the end of 2007. Liz Burleson-Barrett, outgoing Service Specialists Association President, made the announcement during the association's recent annual meeting in New Orleans.
BEIJING - China has published technical standards for producing lubricant oil (lub oil) for commercial vehicles, which are expected to guide commercial vehicle producers and maintenance staff to select appropriate lubricant oil.
The standards, initiated by the Society of Automotive Engineers of China (SAE) and drafted by PetroChina's (SEHK:0857; SSE:601857) Kunlun Lubricant Oil Co., specify standards for engine-use lub oil, gearing system lube oil, lubricant grease, and specialist lube oils.
